A total of 15 million people in America are suffering from
some type of food allergy. The two most common foods that can cause allergy are
the dairy and wheat products in people of all ages. People mistakenly think
that food irritations only occur for one reason – if they have eaten something
bad. Although partially true, it has a lot of other reasons attached to the
outburst of the food allergies. As a matter of fact, it’s not easy to figure
out the reason behind the outbreak of different food allergies causing
sickness. On the top of that, many people who possess some type of allergy are
often unaware to gauge the real reason that if they have a reaction or is it
the allergy. The need to know the type of allergy is crucial as the cause will lead
to a correct treatment. For example, if it is the food allergy then people will
have to avoid some food items from their diets and say, eat best gluten free pizza crust instead. And if it is some food reaction,
then instead of giving up the food, people have to get medicine for their
stomach problem or other appropriate treatment.
Now, how do we categorize a food allergy? And do we really have to give up your favorite treats, say
the linzer cookies and eat the gluten free linzer cookies when suffering
from allergy? The answer is Yes! If you find out that you have gluten
insensitivity then you give up the foods containing gluten because it causes a
problem inside your stomach. Gluten sensitivity is a serious medical problem in
which the gluten proteins inside our body interferes with the
functioning of the immune system. In other words, it creates a reaction of
different chemicals in the body that causes serious sickness, making clear that
the gluten insensitive people should avoid gluten rich foods. The symptoms can
start from the minor rashes, itching or inflammation to dangerous allergy that
can be deadly. Different risks related to gluten sensitivity are breathing
difficulty, harmful infection over the neck and on tongue.
So be careful, and keep your food sensitivity or
reactions in check.
